Freight is one of the most promising young bands in the country right now. Slowly making their way through the currently growing DIY scene in Australia, they have found themselves offering a refined look at post-rock, indie, emo, and post-hardcore. Their debut self-titled album displays their variety and musical ability as it sonically travels through different instrumental approaches, whilst layering in very deliberately chosen lyricism that explores concepts of loneliness, relationships, and grief.

Kitty records is extremely excited to host this band on the label, as their efforts continue throughout their touring schedule, and their consistent effort towards growing the DIY space in Australia.
